Sprint HTC Hero gets a brand new look

Sprint’s HTC Android Hero is the third phone in the U.S., the first U.S. device to feature HTC Sense UI and first Sprint device to offer HTC Footprints. It has the same internal as GSM Hero featuring a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with fingerprint resistant coating, a 5 megapixel camera, integrated GPS receiver, trackball navigation, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot.

The HTC Hero supports Sprint TV live and on-demand programming, NFL Mobile Live and NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile, visual voice mail service and offers easy access to social networking sites, including Facebook, Flickr and Twitter.

Sprint intends to release the HTC Hero on 11 October for 180 $ after a 50 $ instant savings and a 100 $ mail-in rebate with a two-year contract.

Sony VAIO X Ultra Slim Notebook

Sony announced at the IFA 2009 pounds its VAIO X series ultra-slim notebook that is just 0.5-inch thick and weighs just 1.5. The VAIO X will use carbon fiber for the chassis and aluminum for the keyboard. The final specifications has not been confirmed but the device is currently running on Intel’s Atom.

The VAIO X has a 11.1-inch display, two USB output ports, VGA, multi-in-one memory card slot and Ethernet port Sony VAIO X will officially launch in October. Will it get CULVER Intel processor and Windows 7. Let’s wait and see.

BenQ G922HDL World’s First 18.5-inch LED Display

BenQ announced the G922HDL, the world’s first 18.5-inch widescreen LED backlight LCD display. The new G922HDL is one of the two new display in BenQ’s new LED backlight G series, the other model is the 19-inch G920WL.

The BenQ G922HDL features 1366 × 768 WXGA resolution while the G920WL has 1440 × 900 16:10 resolution. Both models have LED backlighting, a million dynamic contrast ratio of 5: 1 and comes with the Eco Fashion, eco-friendly like the V-series. These LED displays boasts Senseye 3 Human Vision Technology, which offers one-touch image optimization of richness, clarity, and depth using preset modes calibrated to specific applications.

BenQ’s new G series displays are eco-friendly as the panels are 100% and the mercury-free LED backlight technology Allows less power consumption. Both G922HDL and G920WL provide DVI and D-sub inputs.
