Raidon is going to announced at the CeBIT 2010 its GT1640 USB / eSATA hard drive enclosure. It is compatible with 3.5-inch SATA hard drive and supports USB 3.0 and eSATA interface while is compatible with USB 2.0.

So, to be introduced are he R2 and R4 USB 3.0 data storage solution that supports SSD, hard drive and RAID configuration.

Raidon Taiwanese company unveils its hybrid SSD / HDD combo, a similar product like the Silverstone HDDBOOST, that combines a SSD and a hard drive into one storage solution. According to MacWorld, the Hybrid is designed to replace 3.5-inch hard drive and its reads from and writes to the SSD SSD and mirrors the content to the hard drive.

Hard drive maker Seagate ships its 3.5-inch Constellation ES enterprise hard drive with 2TB capacity and 6Gb SAS interface. The drive operates at 7200RPM and features the Power Choice optimized power and cooling technology and government-grade Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) TCG-compliant/AES-128 option for security.

The Constellation ES is also available in 500GB and 1TB versions.

Asus officially announced its TS Mini server, a NAS device designed for modern home and small office users for data exchange between multiple computers, automatic backup and cloud storage.

The Asus TS Mini is boosted by Intel’s Atom N280 1.66GHz processor and up to 2GB of memory, and it runs Windows Home Server OS. The TS Mini can automatically back up data from up to 10 computers daily. Toshiba introduces a new line of 1.8-inch hard drive with up to 320GB capacity which is the industry’s highest for 1.8-inch HDDs, replacing the company’s 250GB MK2529GSG. The new line is available capacities of 160GB (MK1633GSG), 250GB (MK2533GSG) and 320GB (MK3233GSG). The 320GB model has industry’s highest areal density of 801 Mbit/mm2 (516 Gbpsi).

Taiwanese company Team Group announced the new P2 series (S25P02) IDE Solid State Drive (SSD). Unlike most new SSDs, the P2 uses the 44 pin IDE interface and comes in 2.5-inch form factor.

Team Group’s P2, based on MLC flash memory, is available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities. It offers up to 80MB / s of read and 50MB / s of write speeds.
