FujiFilm announced the FinePix S200EXR long zoom digital camera that is the successor of the S100FS. The FinePix S200EXR is positioned as a top-end camera. It is FujiFilm’s third camera to use the Super CCD EXR image sensor.
FinePix S200EXR is equipped with a 12 megapixel image sensor and EXR offers EXR EXR Priority and Auto modes. It features a 14.3 Fujinon optical zoom lens with 2.8mm wide angle, ISO up to 12.800, Lens-shift optical image stabilization, and a 2.7-inch LCD display.
The long zoom camera offers film simulation mode, Face Detection (with Auto red-eye removal), High speed shooting functions. There are also Pro and Pro Focus Mode Low-light mode.
FujiFilm FinePix S200EXR supports SD / SDHC cards. It will be available in August 2009 for 600 $.
