iLuv offers the remote iEA15 iPod adapter that comes with in-line remote iPod and allows you to use any 3.5mm headphones / earphones. It supports the new VoiceOver function on the iPod Shuffle 3G.
With the adapters, you can now use your own headphones at the same time keeping the remote control and VoiceOver feature. It is compatible with iPod touch 2G, iPod nano 4G, iPod shuffle 3G and iPod classic. The adapter will be released soon.
