Western Digital introduces the new My Book Studio Edition II dual-drive storage system available in 1TB or 2TB, the My Book Studio Edition II offers RAID 0 configuration, four interfaces, which include FireWire 400 and 800, Estate and USB 2.0.
The external HDD is environment friendly with its Green Power WD harddrives that “consume approximately one-third less power than standard dual-drive external storage systems and efficient convection cooling architecture and power-saving mode”. It is also Mac-ready.
The 1TB model is priced at $ 349 while the 2TB at 299.99. They are available now. 4TB version is also available now for $ 599.99.
